Tastes Like Vegan is a blog that I set up for my wife, who has recently decided to become a vegan. The blog is intended to provide vegan recipes and news as well as discuss experiences, her journey through becoming a vegan and thoughts on the food industry.

Being a blog, it is heavily reliant on sociability – providing readers ample chances to interact with the site, share it on their own site and on the social media pages to encourage more interaction and more readers to come along.

The color scheme was clearly influenced by her subject matter and the focus is only being able to provide content to visitors quickly and offering alternative options if what they see initially does not interest them. That is where post ‘teasers’ (read more…) and the related posts at the end of each post come in.
