ReeFuge
ReeFuge is a non-profit animal rescue in New York City that aims to tackle the high euthanasia rate by rescuing animals and promoting spay/neuter initiatives.
ReeFuge started humbly and when the time was right, Reedu, an existing client, approached me and asked me to build a website for the rescue.
The website needed to include several features, such as the ability to post pictures and bios of the animals in their care, post news articles and take both adoption applications and donations directly on their website.
The final solution incorporated all of these elements in a clear fashion that allows ReeFuge to operate efficiently and to stay connected with those who share their passion for animal welfare.

- The website displays all of the animals currently in their care, so that potential adopters can see them.

- The application form allows the rescue to take applications from anyone at any time, without the awkward paper trail.

- As a non-profit, donations are critical to ReeFuge’s operation, so the ability to be able collect donations online is essential to their operation.
