A Charming Occasion
Joelle made her dream come true in 2011 when she decided to start her own wedding planning business, A Charming Occasion. As part of her business plan, she opted to upgrade her old website, to give it a new look and to bring it to the WordPress platform, for its ease of maintenance.
I helped her make the transition and since then, have been her go-to person for any issues or changes that she’s wanted to make. Whether it’s something simple that she can’t quite get her head around, or something a little more complex that she just needs to hand over to a developer, I’ve been there to help her with her every need.
The website allows her to show of images of her work as well as a run-down of the services she offers, and resources for potential brides. She also proudly hosts reviews from couples she has worked with in the past.
She also has an accompanying blog, that matches the main site in style, and gives her a personal touch, that helps set her apart as an expert at what she does, and allows prospective clients to see a little of the personality behind the face before they even engage her services.

Dave and I started working together in the summer of 2011, and I haven’t looked back since! I love experimenting with my website, but he has been there from the start to help me with the things I just can’t figure out on my own. He’s always quick to respond and quick to get it done, which I really appreciate. My business is going really well, due in large part to my website (I’m always getting compliments), and I really couldn’t have done it without Dave!
